Institute of the
Estonian Language

Role
1. UI/UX — user flow, website information architecture, prototyping
2. Design System development

Work done in Ruum 414.

The Institute of the Estonian Language (Eesti Keele Instituut, EKI) is the official regulator of the Estonian language. Founded in 1993, their work is ever important and far-reaching.

Working in Ruum 414, I was tasked with updating their website not only to align with the new brand identity but also for people to better navigate their huge wealth of knowledge.

Working together with the brand designer, head programmer and UX researcher I researched and communicated effective site information architecture and alongside designing the web experience built a design system for EKI using existing branding material.
